If you are planning to be away from your home for an extended period of time, the Veazie Police Department will periodically check your residence and notify you or your designee if any serious problems are discovered. Please read the following information and then click on the link at the bottom of the page to download the form.
About the program:
Property checks are offered to residents free of charge. While you are away, a Police Officer will conduct a perimeter check and verify all vehicles and people on the property. In the event a problem is found, the Officer will contact you or your designee.
Guidelines:
Property checks will not be done on properties in which someone is staying at the residence. We would appreciate you making arrangements to have the driveway cleared of snow during the winter months so that officers have access to the property. Please contact us upon your return to let us know you have returned home safely and the watch can be cancelled.
